Short and sweet

To make up for the previous long post full of rants, i shall be kind (as always) and keep this post short and sweet.

Alright i’m lying, that’s not the real reason.

I’m being brief now as disney’s “pocahontas” will be fully loaded soon and comparing blogging to watching a disney film, of course i’ll shove blogging aside in a flash.

3rd May 2008

After lunch, i watched disney’s “the little mermaid” and another R21 show “sex is zero 2″  which i think wasn’t as funny as the first movie which i just watched sometime last month but still entertaining nonetheless.

Then baby and i headed to vivo city for dinner at thai express and i satisfied my craving for durian by having d24 durian ice-cream from bravissimo - yummy! We went to candy empire and stocked up on sweets then before we left vivo city, we visited the pet safari to see the puppies!

The cutest was this white toy poodle, just 2 months old and costs $2000.

I wonder why the price is so steep though. My first dog, a shih-tzu - soda - cost about $1500. The second and third dogs i had, both malteses - cotton and wishbone - cost about $1000 each, so $2000 for both of them. The fourth, fifth and sixth dogs were about $2000 or $3000 altogether i think, as they were the offsprings of cotton and wishbone so we just had to pay for cotton’s emergency cesarean section and medical fees at the mount pleasant animal hospital.

Either the pet safari sells puppies at a high profit margin or toy poodles just cost more.

4th May 2008

I watched disney’s “cinderella” and all 8 episodes of “girls out loud” hosted by wendy cheng aka xiaxue and a dj called rosalyn.“Girls out loud” is really entertaining and a laugh-out-loud kinda reality show - at least for me it is. I know it was shown on tv last year or something but i never caught it.

Anyway every episode was interesting and amusing to watch, one was jaw-dropping (tyron - xiaxue’s poly crush - is oh-my-gosh so hot and cute!) and one was a little gross (xiaxue’s nose job which showed her nose flipped open - eww) so all-in-all they were great to watch and i do hope there’ll be a season 2 for this show.

Besides that, i practically slept the rest of the day away, occasionally getting up either to eat or to relief my bladder or to play a few rounds of ding ding and house of chocolates or to surf the net etc.

Baby also bought bubble tea for me, though he limited me to just 2 - i usually have a minimum of 4. But at least i didn’t need to get up as often to head to the bathroom.

Today

Had the last paper and even though i only answered 3 questions - half the paper - i couldn’t care less cos i’m free as a bird to do anything i wanna do now. Not as if i haven’t been doing that already but at least now there’s not even a tinsy bit of guilt! Heh.

My paper ended at 11am so after having lunch with baby, i still had to wait for nearly 4 hours before my baby finished his last paper which ended at 3pm, so i did what i always do best - time wasting stuff - to pass the time.

When his paper ended, his 3 re coursemates - brandon, chuanxin and this girl whom i met for the first time today and whose name i’ve forgotten as it’s a chinese name and i have difficulty remembering chinese names - and the both of us squeezed into brandon’s mini cooper and headed for vivo city for a bite and a movie - “iron man”.

It was a pretty long show, slightly more than 2 hours. It’s not bad, typical marvel comic-turn-movie and baby said that it’s about the same standard as “spiderman 1″ so i guess if you liked “spiderman 1″, you’d probably enjoy “iron man”.

Oh yeah, if you haven’t caught the show yet and plan to, and if you are patient enough then do stay on through the credits as they show a snippet of the sequel to “iron man” right at the end - just a really short one but it’s enough to let you know what to expect in the next movie if you follow marvel comics.

Shall end it off now as it’s time for “pocahontas”!

Alright i realised that this post isn’t exactly “short and sweet” but it’s too late! You’ve already read all the way till this sentence - the end of the post - so there’s nothing you can do. Muahahaha!
